Downtown Betty is hosting, and nobody's cooking at home this year. She and Fremont Frank have claimed the best red vinyl booth in the diner, a golden roast turkey, pumpkin pie and gravy boat lined up on the chrome-edged Formica table. Betty raises a martini, Frank raises a cold beer, and the glasses clink under a glowing turkey neon. That's the whole tradition: good friends, a full table and somebody else doing the dishes.
Printed on a Comfort Colors 1717 — garment-dyed, heavyweight, broken-in-on-day-one soft. Built for Friendsgiving potlucks, long diner dinners and the toast before the second slice of pie.
